Details: On April 30, 1974, Earland was seen for the last time at a grocery store in Tofino, British Columbia. On April 11, 1974, Earland had set sail on a fishing trip on his 39-foot Fishing Trawler from Steveston Fisherman’s Wharf in Richmond, British Columbia, with his 1969 Triumph motorcycle secured to the stern (see below). Earland was working at a remote logging camp at the time of his disappearance.
Despite ongoing efforts by investigators and family, his whereabouts remain unknown. No remains have been found, and no persons of interest have been publicly named.
