Details: Mabel was last seen on the night of October 2, 1990, in the Jane Street and Eglinton Avenue area. At 10:00pm, Mabel returned home after seeing a movie with her employer. She received a phone call. While some reports suggest it was a client, family members believed it was a boyfriend she was trying to avoid. At 10:30pm, she left her home again, telling her sister she had an “appointment” and would be back soon, but she did not specify who she was meeting. On October 3, 1990 at approximately 3:30p, Mabel’s Toyota Tercel was discovered abandoned approximately 2 km from her home.

It should be noted that Mabel’s family members said she was being stalked by an ex-boyfriend at the time she disappeared.
