Details: On April 23, 1973, Guy Carignan was seen for the last time in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. He was to travel to Vancouver, British Columbia with Lucie Gélinas. Lucie’s father drove Lucie and Guy to the Couronne roundabout in Trois‑Rivières. The two friends planned to travel to Vancouver by hitchhiking. Guy’s family reported him missing on May 28, 1980. Investigations were conducted in Edmonton, Alberta and Vancouver, British Columbia. Law enforcement were unable to locate Guy or Lucie.

Note: Canada’s Missing has Guy’s missing since date as April 28, 1973 however the Meurtres et Disparitions Irrésolus du Québec (Unsolved Murders and Missing Persons of Quebec) site has April 23, 1973 and in the details of the case, Guy was last seen with Lucie Gélinas by Lucie’s father.
