Details About Amelie’s Case: On the morning of August 28, 1973, 36-year-old Amelie McArthur was seen driving away from her home in Taylor, British Columbia. It is unknown where she was going that day, or if anybody saw her after she left her house.

Later that day, her car was found abandoned on the Taylor Bridge, which is part of the Alaska Highway in northeastern B.C. The car was still running. The lights were on, and the driver’s side door was open. There is no vehicle description available.

Few details are available about her disappearance and she has not been heard from since that day. She used several aliases and she may have been married. Her whereabouts are unknown.
