Details: Sheryl was last seen in Victoria, British Columbia on May 30, 1985. She was headed to a job interview and traveling between Vancouver Island, British Columbia and Grande Prairie, Alberta. She has never been heard from again and was reported missing on August 31, 1985. Investigators received indications that she might have travelled to Vancouver, Alberta, or Toronto but nothing appears to be confirmed.

Note: On Websleuths I found a post about Sheryl’s disappearance. They sited that the information came from Canada’s Missing and Doe Network, however this little bit is listed on neither.

“She is listed as endangered due to her associations and was known to have substance abuse problems.” There is no endangered classification and no mention at all of substance abuse issues or her living a ‘high risk lifestyle’ (a term that is regularly used among persons who are alleged to be sex trade workers or have connections to people who commit crimes). This has been copied to Porchlight Canada as well. There is a note on there saying it came from the Vancouver Police Department, however she is not listed on the Vancouver Missing Persons site.

It has also been suggested that she was a victim of Robert Pickton.

As it stands, there is little to no information about Sheryl, her life or her missing persons case. If anyone has anything they would like to add, let me know.
