Details: On April 2, 2025, the Nottawasaga detachment (Alliston, ON) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) recovered an abandoned vehicle that was unlocked with keys and a wallet in the center console. The vehicle and belongings were registered to a Bernard Smith. Extensive searches were conducted in the location of Smith’s vehicle and the surrounding area, but no further evidence was found. Investigators are searching the Nottawasaga River where the car was located. He may have been wearing a blue t-shirt.
