On Wednesday, October 18, 1978, a witness located the body of Roland’s inside a pawn shop located at 9608 111 Avenue.
Roland was an employee of the store. He was found with obvious trauma around his head.
The autopsy results showed that Roland had been beaten to death. Investigators believed the motive to be a robbery.
