Details: Maryse disappeared from the Joliette area of Québec on January 22, 1971. She was last seen at approximately 12:30 pm when she went o`ut for a walk and has never been seen since. According to law enforcement, at the time of her disappearance, Maryse was placed in foster care by the CHRDL Hospital (Centre hospitalier régional de Lanaudière) in Saint-Charles-Borromée, Québec.
*Author Note: Looking at the photos of Maryse indicates that she was a nurse. I think she was transferred to CHRDL hospital for work. It is unlikely she’d be in ‘foster care’ at the age of 26 years.
There are few details available regarding Maryse’s case and to date she remains missing.
