The Lévis Police Department would like to inform the public that on November 23, 2022, it will be erecting a command post on the grounds of the Cité de la Santé in Laval. This operation is related to a disappearance that occurred in 1997 on the territory of the City of Lévis.
Initially, in January 1997, Ms. Pierrette Bouffard, residing at 2446 Maupas Street in Lévis, disappeared without a trace. Despite searches, the woman could not be located. Several years later, information obtained by the SPVL allowed the case to be reopened.
According to this information, a woman matching the description of the missing person was seen at the Cité de la Santé in Laval between 2016 and 2019 by an employee who was also a member of the missing person’s family.
To help locate this patient, we are asking for help from the public and Cité de la Santé employees. We will be available from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm this Wednesday, November 23, at 1755 Bd. René-Laennec in Laval. Anyone with information related to this case will be able to meet with investigators on site.
Police released two new composite sketches when they announced that Pierrette’s case had been reopened.
