Details: Gordon was last seen on January 3, 1991, heading to a camp on Elizabeth Lake or Windigo Bay, Ontario. He was traveling by snowmobile across the frozen lake when his snow machine broke down. It was recovered. In the springtime, Gordon’s helmet was also recovered when it washed up on shore. It is suspected that he may have encountered open water or thin ice.
