Notable: Christina was in good health when she went missing but her physical condition may not have been the best. She also is noted as having very poor spatial awareness, sense of direction, and sense of balance. She also has phobias of spiders and rodents.
Details About Christina’s Case: Christina Calayca went camping with her cousin Faith Castulo and two friends Edward “Eddy” Migue & Joe “J.B.” Benedict at Rainbow Falls Provincial Park in Northwestern Ontario over the Civic Holiday long weekend.
At around Monday August 6 at 6:30, just before sunrise, Christina asked Eddy to come with her to the comfort station. Eddy said that he and Christina decided to go jogging on their return trip. It is unclear if the pair decided to take different paths right away or if they had tried to run together until Christina, being unable to keep up with Eddy decided to take different paths. The two split up at an intersection near the park entrance and just south of the comfort station with Eddy following the road towards Highway 17 and Christina doing down a different road which led to the Rainbow Falls. This is the last confirmed sighting of Christina Calayca.
Extensive searches of land and water have failed to locate Christina.
