Details: Rose Mary Friday suddenly disappeared from her residence in Brampton on June 19, 1974. Her disappearance was not reported to the authorities at that time. In October of 1974 Rose Mary’s husband remarried (It is unclear how he remarried while still married to Rose Mary). His new wife became suspicious about the account given to her about Rose Mary and she made a Missing Person report to Peel Police. The investigation started but unfortunately the case became cold when all leads failed to find Rose Mary. The disappearance of Rose Mary is considered suspicious.
The Missed Lives Project has emailed the RCMP about doing further matches/dental comparisons to the Halton Hills Jane Doe back in 2015, but there don’t appear to be any updates. The Halton Hills Jane Doe is a skeleton in 1978, near Chudleigh Farm which is about a 30 minute drive from Brampton. The are a few things that don’t match up with Rose Mary, but there are some that do. Since Halton Hills Jane Doe had been edentulous (toothless) for many years prior to her death, and she is 2 to 3 inches taller than Rose Mary, I don’t think it’s her.
