Suzanne was last seen leaving her Gammage Street apartment in the east end of the City of London, Ontario on Sunday, September 15, 1974, at approximately 1:30pm. She never returned home, and was reported missing September 16, 1974, ten days prior to her 26th birthday. Suzanne was a mother to three children.

Almost a month later on October 12, 1974, her badly decomposed body was found in a wooded lot near the banks of the Thames River in Thorndale, Ontario. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. Police believe the murder occurred at a different location, as no evidence of the killing was found in her abandoned blue Datsun, which was discovered earlier at the Argyle Mall parking lot.
In July 2018, police launched a renewed multimedia campaign called “Find My Killer” to generate new leads, using signage on buses and social media. The campaign generated an “overwhelming amount” of tips, and police hoped modern technology and a wider reach would help solve the decades-old mystery.
The case is a joint investigation between the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the London Police Service and remains unsolved. A $50,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest.
