Sahil was last seen wearing: He was wearing a brown/beige jacket (as seen in the photo), blue jeans, a grey sweater with red stripes on the neck with green shoes in size 7
Additional: Sahil was carrying a backpack with a laptop and iPAD inside. He wore a stainless steel bracelet, multiple gold chains
Notable: Sahil’s left ear is pierced and he had a tattoo on his right forearm “RAM” written in Hindi symbols. He also wears reading glasses and had a ‘slight beard’ or stubble/5:00 shadow.
Details: Sahil left his residence in the Newton area of Surrey, BC. For two years Sahil had been living with his aunt and uncle. Sahil was last seen on surveillance cameras leaving the Kwantlen campus around 6:20pm on November 13, 2008 at Kwantlen Polytechnic University where he was a student. The morning of his disappearance, Sharma went to school with $4,000.00 in cash, which he used to pay his tuition fees. He attended his classes and then met with friends and spoke to a career counsellor to plan for the coming semester.
There was nothing to suggest he was unhappy or wanted to get away from his life. He had no health issues, no issues with alcohol or drugs, and there was no indication that he was suicidal. There has been no activity on his passport, bank account, cell phone and no record of any doctors visits.
Sahil’s family says a week before his disappearance, he became very close to one friend in particular, but that person was cleared by police. His parents travelled from India to ask the public to share any information about what happened to their son.
To date, Sahil has not been seen or heard from and remains missing.
