Details about Kerry’s case: The last time that Kerry spoke to his sister Ida was on November 26, 2010. She said he was near the corner of Maryland Street and Broadway. Just prior to his disappearance, their Mother had passed away and Kerry was grieving hard. He had turned to alcohol to try and cope. Ida believes that Kerry was intoxicated during their last interactions. When he stopped responding to messages on Facebook, Ida called Kerry’s employer at the Dakota Hotel and they had told her that he had quit his job. When she contacted the police to report him missing, they told her to call his friends, homeless shelters and hospitals so they could be ruled out. The formal missing persons report was finally filed on December 20, 2010. Ida said that there was no one assigned to the case until mid-January 2011.

At first Ida had many theories about what happened to Kerry. Eventually she realized he may have been struggling, but he had 2 little girls to raise that he loved very much. Kerry was a funny guy who was always pranking and joking around and he loved to laugh.

When someone goes missing, the whole family suffers in so many ways. Sadly, Manitoba Child & Family Services took Kerry’s daughter and placed them into foster care. They were separated. Sadly just a few years ago one of his daughters had passed away.

To date, Kerry has not been seen or heard from and remains missing.
