Details: Marilyn moved to Vancouver from the US and at the time she went missing was emotionally distressed. While it is believed that she committed suicide, she has never been located and the file remains open. Marilyn was reported missing on June 25, 1986, after relatives living in the US visited Vancouver to find her without luck. She had been out of contact with her family since 1982. According to Vancouver police Constable Sarah Bloor, Marilyn is alleged to have had issues with substance use, however she was not believed to have been involved in sex work.
