Details: John W. Burton and two passengers (Edward Flett and Clifford Dowson) were flying from Oxford House to Island Lake in Manitoba. John Burton was the pilot of the Cessna 185 and at approximately 11:00 am he made a routine radio call stating that the plane would be landing at Garden Hill First Nation in approximately 15 minutes. The plane never arrived at its destination. To date, no plane wreckage or remains have been located.
