Details: Christopher was originally thought to have been last seen on April 7, 2015 at approximately 1:00pm leaving his residence in the Montcalm area of Winnipeg, Manitoba to pick up some supplies for a fishing trip. He telephoned his mother to tell her he was on his way home, but did not show up and has not been heard from since.
Surveillance video from April 7, 2015, shows Guimond getting off of a southbound bus a few blocks from his home at the intersection of Pembina Highway and Plaza Drive at approximately 10:30pm.
Christopher’s mother Dorothy said she has received little information about the investigation from Winnipeg police. She continues to search the city with family members, even though she no longer believes her son is alive. In the months leading up to Christopher’s disappearance, Dorothy has said her son had confided in family members that he was being threatened, although she doesn’t know why. She also received a tip that leads her to believe her son was killed.
“The rumour is that he was buried somewhere, by a creek somewhere, but where?” Dorothy said. “Not knowing what really happened to him, it hurts. I think about that every day.” – CBC News 2017
Christopher was in regular contact with his mother. Him being out of contact for this length of time is definitely out the ordinary.
To date, Christopher has not been seen or heard from and remains missing
