Details of Angie’s Case: Angeline vanished from North Vancouver, British Columbia on May 26, 2011. Angie was in an extremely problematic relationship with a man named Robert Calden. There was a lot of alcohol abuse and domestic violence. “Rumor has it” that Angie was beaten the night of her disappearance, however authorities will not confirm or deny this information. On the evening of May 20, 2011 at approximately 9:00pm, police broke up a fight between the couple.
Police questioned the couple and Robert Calden was charged, but Angeline declined to provide a statement, and the charge was eventually stayed. That same evening, Angeline had been texting with Calvin Scow, a friend from Port Hardy also living in the Lower Mainland at the time. This was the last time Calvin has heard from Angie.

According to Court Records, at 10:37pm on May 20, an RCMP constable went to the apartment the couple share and “performed five sets of loud door knocks” to get her attention if she were inside, “sleeping or otherwise.” She never answered the door.
On May 25, 2011, police issued a warrant for Angie’s arrest for breaching the conditions of her sentence. She had two conditional sentence orders related to assault convictions. The North Vancouver RCMP said that an officer went to the couple’s apartment to execute the warrant. Robert Calden was apparently on the phone with Angie at the time. The office spoke to her. After some back and forth, she stated she was no longer in the area and the officer requested that she return and turn herself in.
That was the last time that anyone has heard from Angeline Eileen Pete – as far as law enforcement and her family are aware.

RCMP say Robert Calden was questioned, submitted to a polygraph test and has co-operated with the investigation.
