Details: Elaine was reported missing from Coquitlam, British Columbia on April 9, 1998. Her family have not seen or heard from her since April 9, 1989. Elaine had issues with substance abuse and engaged in survival sex work. She is not one of the women named as one of Robert Pickton’s victims, but she is on the list of missing women from the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.
At one point it had been suggested that Elaine was “Rockwood Jane Doe” who’s remains had been located in August of 2005. She had had been deceased for approximately 1 month prior to her discovery. Elaine has been eliminated as a match to “Rockwood Jane Doe” by the OPP
