Details: Sherry was known to frequent the Downtown Eastside area of Vancouver, BC. She was alleged to have issues with substance abuse and was a sex worker. Sherry had left her suite/place of residence with all of her belongings still inside and was never seen again.

There is very little information regarding Sherry’s disappearance. She was last seen in January of 1984 and not officially reported as missing until January of 1987. Sadly, there are many cases that family members have tried to report their loved ones as missing several times and law enforcement doesn’t take them seriously because they are sex workers or because of their addiction issues with alcohol or illicit substances. Sometimes they have to report them several times before the official missing persons report is taken.

It is a possibility that Sherry was a victim of Robert Pickton, but is not listed as one of his victims. As there is not DNA noted as being on file, it is unlikely that there will be an answer regarding this.

To date, Sherry has not been seen or heard from and remains missing.
