Details about Denis’s case: Denis was last seen on July 22, 2023 at the Bulpit Lake Family Camp, located at 542 Stringer Road in Carlow Mayo Township, East of Bancroft, Ontario. Denis planned to meet everyone in the common beach area after a brief nap in his cabin, which was located a distance away, but he never arrived. Denis may have woke up disoriented in the new cabin and taken the wrong path to the communal area.

Despite an exhaustive and intensive search by the OPP Emergency Response Team, Denis has not been located.

His family was quoted as saying, “We will never know why he walked into the woods instead of up the road, but then he was always one to choose the road less travelled.”
