Details about Willie’s case: Willie lived with his father on Favourable Lake where they hunted, fished and trapped. The area is remote and virtually uninhabited. Willie was
reportedly very comfortable living in the outdoors and could sustain himself for quite sometime. On the morning in question, Willie departed the camp to hunt and did not return. All boats owned by the Ray’s were accounted for. The only missing firearm was a 12 gauge shotgun that belonged to Willie.
The Canada’s Missing website says that Willie’s missing date is September 12, however the OPP listing has the date as September 1. The Canada’s Missing website also states that Willie was not reported as missing until September 30, 1960 but it doesn’t not state why.
To date, Willie has not been heard from or located and remains missing
