Details about Bonny’s case: Bonny was a ward of the Brandon Mental Health Centre when she disappeared. It was believed that she left the facility on her own. As the investigation continued, it was discovered that Bonny was scheduled to finalize her divorce from her husband. She was allegedly picked up by a truck that was similar in appearance to the one he owned at the time. Her husband, who is now deceased owned a trucking company located in Souris, Manitoba approximately 30 minutes southwest of Brandon.
There have been several tips that her husband had been overheard saying he had murdered Bonny & buried her body in the Souris Gravel Pitts. The Brandon Police Service has not searched for her body in the gravel pits even though this information had been provided to them several times.
