Details about Glenn’s case: Glenn was last seen by his parents in Cross Lake, Manitoba on June 28, 1989. He had complained about a headache after a fight earlier in the day. The details surrounding this fight are unclear. Glenn’s sister Lillian is adamant that he wasn’t the type of person to start anything, like a fight. She said he was a kind young man, caring for others.

There were rumors throughout the community that a man had murdered Glenn and buried him in an unknown location. While these rumors have been around for decades, they were taken more seriously after a cousin of Glenn’s was drinking with a man who said he knows where Colombe is buried. The Old Cemetery, which is close to where he was last seen. They know, but they just don’t want to come forward.

Law enforcement received a lead when a witness had claimed to see Glenn at a party on the evening of June 28, 1989.

Glenn’s family has set up a camp at the site where they think his body is buried. Lillian said it was their presence that inspired another witness to break his silence. She also said her family was searching all around the site, but not doing any digging. Theresa McKay is Glenn’s last surviving aunt, Elizabeth McKay is his first cousin and she is leading the search efforts, and Lillian Halcrow is his oldest sister.

Glenn has not been seen or heard from since and foul play is suspected. The family just wants closure and lay him to rest, a proper burial.

Additional Information: It doesn’t appear that any actual searches by law enforcement were done at The Old Cemetery, however this is still an open case and this information may not have been released to the media.
