Details about Glen’s case: Wesley was last seen at 1:00pm on September 15, 2010, which was his 28th birthday. He was a resident of the Northeast Mental Health Hospital (now defunct which was located on Highway 11 North, north of the city of North Bay) previously known as the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital, where Glen was being treated for schizophrenia. The staff at the hospital had given him permission to leave the hospital (a short-term pass). It is believed that Wesley took a city bus into downtown North Bay to celebrate his birthday. He was supposed to return at 2:15pm on the same day. When he failed to return, the hospital staff contacted the North Bay Police Service to report him as a missing person when they could not locate him during a search of the hospital and surrounding grounds.

Since his disappearance, there have been several unconfirmed sightings of him in the Cochrane, Timmins and New Liskeard areas, but none of these could be confirmed.

It should be noted that Wesley is just one of six people to go missing from this specific hospital between 1966 and 2010. Other patients include Philippe Guerin, Norman Welsh, Terry Zubko, Russell Hoffert, and Dawn Carisse.
