Details about Philip’s case: In July 2004, Philip Leishman left his residence with a friend from Kakisa Lake, Northwest Territories. Philip had told his family that he would be travelling to Fort McMurray, Alberta, and it was confirmed that he was in Fort McMurray until late August of 2004. Philip has ties to Port Alberni, British Columbia, Grand Prairie, Alberta, and Calgary, Alberta.
Philip worked as a cook for many companies, including most YK restaurants and Abel House. He was working in Alberta and B.C. at that time of his disappearance August 2004. Philip’s mom Margaret says her son was often busy with work and would go for extended periods of time without contacting her.
To date, Philip has not been located or heard from.
