Details about Ozzie’s case: Ozzie left his parents home in Peguis First Nation, Manitoba to go to the bush a short distance east of the house and cut some wood. Ozzie was very familiar with the area and enjoyed chopping wood. He spent a lot of time there and knew it well. He had never been lost in the bush and had never failed to return home previously. He visited at his sister’s residence nearby at 6:15pm. Shortly thereafter, his sister told him that he should go home so that their mother wouldn’t worry. When Ozzie left his sisters’s residence, his intention was to go home, but he has not been seen since.
