Watson Lake, Yukon
Following an attempted abduction on August 25, 2023 at Andrea’s Hotel in Watson Lake between 10:00pm – 11:05pm, the RCMP have been seeking information from the public that could help identify the suspect.
The female victim reported that a male grabbed her and tried to shove her into a tractor trailer. The victim was helped by a bystander who helped push the man away from her.
Watson Lake RCMP have worked with a forensic sketch artist to develop an image of what the suspect looks like.
The female victim described the perpetrator as:
Age: Approximately 50 years old
Gender: Male
Complexion: Lighter skin
Ethnicity: Caucasian, possibly mixed with something else
Eye Color: Dark eyes (possibly blue)
Hair: Light colored, ashy brown or grey
Height: Approximately 5’8″
Physical Build: Broad and heavier build
The tractor trailer was described as red with a white box.
