The Unsolved Murder of Lorne McKay

On November 3, 1981, a witness observed 4 males drinking on a loading dock behind 10130 – 103 Street.

The witness had observed the same males drinking there on previous occasions. This time, one of the males, later identified as Lorne McKay was bleeding from the face. The witness asked a security guard to call Police.

When Police and ambulance attendants arrived, Lorne was found unconscious, bleeding from the mouth and appeared to have a stab wound in his back. He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
