The Unsolved Murder of Gus Fourtounes

A stabbing occurred on August 25, 2005 at 4:42am on Elizabeth Street in Guelph, Ontario. A male resident of Elizabeth Street was awakened by a male calling for help. When he answered the door he saw a male on his porch bleeding from his chest. Royal City Ambulance transported the male, a 40 year old Guelph male, to Guelph General Hospital.

Gus Fourtounes, died in hospital at 5:41am, August 25, 2005 from injuries received in the stabbing.

Gus lived just a few doors down from where he was calling for help. He was said to associate with some tough people and has had some brushes with law enforcement.

Gus was also the father of two children. They deserve justice.

The family no longer speaks to media.

This case is still unsolved and investigators are asking the public to come forward with any information about this case. Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington will pay a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this horrific crime.
