Violet was last seen wearing: A gold cross/crucifix necklace, a Maltese pink ring, a black leather jacket & blue jeans. She was possibly wearing other rings.

Details About Violet’s Case: Violet was last seen in Port Colborne, Ontario on November 9, 1993 at approximately 8:30am. Her car was later found on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Violet’s keys and her purse, with contents intact, were inside the vehicle. Few details are available in her case.

There are several theories that have been suspected. Unfortunately these are still just theories and there doesn’t appear to be any evidence to support any of them.

*People heard them fighting in the house the night before her disappearance

*Nothing ever came easily for Violet, some people think she was done fighting for everything and may have ended her life
*Some people think she jumped into the falls, there was a sighting that day but the body of a girl (not our mom) was recovered- she just hadn’t been reported missing yet

She Wanted To ‘Start Over’
*Sometimes she talked about being a failure, wishing she made other decisions
*One person said she mentioned wishing she had a “new life” and she had talked about the places she wished she could go
