Details About Diane’s Case: Diane left her mother’s house in Vancouver, British Columbia, on April 17, 1979. Buckley, 18, worked as a cook on a fishing vessel. She left a note when she departed that said she could be found either the US or Mexico. There had also been previous discussions with the Diane mentioning going to Mexico. The investigation ruled out foul play by anyone known to her around the time she went missing. Given all the circumstances, law enforcement believes that it is most possible Diane relocated to the US or Mexico by her choice.

Diane has not been heard from or seen again.
