Details About Debbie’s Case: On August 2, 1982, a Gimli resident reported that in 1972 Debbie Richardson arrived in Gimli to visit her brother. According to this report, she stayed with him for approximately three months, then went missing. Debbie’s brother last saw her in September, 1972, when he dropped her off on a highway so that she could hitchhike to Winnipeg.

To date, no family members have had any contact with Debbie. Foul play is suspected. Debbie has not been located and her whereabouts is unknown
