Notable: Arthur was missing the tip of his right middle and right ring fingers. Arthur also had several tattoos: A star on his left thumb, a circular tattoo with an unknown design on his right upper arm/bicep, A star on his right thumb, a rope & dagger on his left forearm & a rope in a knot on his left forearm.
Details About Arthur’s Case: On July 19, 1970, Arthur left his home in Gimli, Manitoba. He had planned to go fishing in the Whiteshell Provincial Park. Arthur told his wife that he would return on July 21, 1970. He further advised her that if he was going to stay any longer, he would call her to let her know. By July 22, 1970, Arthur had not returned home and his wife hadn’t received a phone call. She reported him missing to police that day. On August 1, 1970, Arthur’s vehicle was located near Falcon Beach. Extensive ground, lake and air searches were done of the area. All efforts to locate him failed to uncover any further leads. Arthur Stephens whereabouts remain unknown.
