Lawrence and Thomas were last seen in Fond du Lac, Saskatchewan on August 29, 1979.

Thomas and Lawrence headed out by boat from Fond Du Lac to Uranium City, Saskatchewan on August 29th, 1979. Their swamped boat was located 2 days later near the Narrows and Popular Point. A month-long extensive search turned up no signs of either man and both Lawrence and Thomas remains missing.
