A Little Bit About Dorothy’s Case:
Dorothy was last seen panhandling near a bridge in downtown Vancouver by a family member on or about August 17, 1995. Dorothy was houseless and lead a ‘high risk’ lifestyle – according to authorities. She was known to be involved in the sex trade in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and she has had ongoing struggles with substance abuse.

Dorothy’s sister posted a message on the authorities missing person’s page, “My sister was not the type of person to just leave and not tell anyone.” She says they are still trying to figure out what happened to Dorothy. She also wants Dorothy to know that her five brothers and three other sisters “love her a great deal and miss her.”
