A Little Bit About Darlene’s Case: Darlene was last seen on February 14, 1983 after leaving her parents home in Oakville, Ontario. Darlene had become pregnant and she left after an argument with her parents. At this point she moved in with her boyfriends family who lived across town but only stayed for a few weeks. Her boyfriends father became concerned and was the one who initially reported Darlene missing. A few months after she disappeared, she did contact her parents by calling from payphones in Huntsville, Ontario. Darlene’s family’s concern was intensified when she did not collect her trust money on her 18th birthday, though Darlene would have turned 18 in 1985.
