Details about Denny’s case: Denny was last seen approximately 30 km’s (19 miles) outside of Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Denny was last seen on March 12, 2016, after spending all night trying to “jog” the 75 km (approx. 50 miles) between Dawson Creek and Fort St. John with his best friend, to meet a girl they met on Facebook.

Denny’s older sister Alisha made it clear that her brother usually made good choices and did not make it a habit of disappearing. Denny is very close to his family. On this day, things were different. Denny told his grandmother that he was going to be sleeping over at his best friend’s house on Friday March 11, 2016. The boys would usually do what they said they were going to do so there was no reason to not believe this would be any different. The time, instead of sleeping over, they decided to leave town.

The next morning – March 12, 2016 – after spending the whole winter night on foot in sweatshirts without food or water, the boys called again saying they were still at the friend’s house and that they were just fine. In fact, the opposite was true. They were’t okay and they weren’t in Dawson. It seems around this point, the boys got lost, they argued and then they parted ways.

Denny’s family was notified later that day through a Facebook message about what happened and that the RCMP went to find the teenagers. Only one of the boys was found.

Denny was heading towards home, is where he was last seen. He was south of the Kiskatinaw River Bridge on Highway 97. His sister Alisha said that they had actually located some of Denny’s tracks and it was like he just vanished.

Alisha also did create a GoFundMe to raise money for a reward for information or the location of her brother.
